Definitions -
Cover music is - Music written by 'someone else'. Generally a 'famous band'.
Original Music is - Music written by you / your band.
A.R.S. Philosophy -
Aussie ROCKSCHOOL bands learn both covers. and originals.
We have discovered the success of our program, and the outcomes for all students are based on this important blend.
We have also found that if young musicians aren't exposed to cover music, their skill-level usually ends up significantly less ( compared to a student that has had the opportunity to learn other people's music).
One the other side of the equation - we have found that if students are only exposed to cover music...their creativity is usually somewhat less than those that have created their own music.
A.R.S has created a very structured learning pathway for all students. Outcomes are usually very significant!

Many bands that are well into their 'teens' have already created many 'bad habits' and 'mindsets'....We are here to assist with this, so that young bands can develop positive working habits that will hold them in good stead for the future.
With regard to teen bands......and 'on the other side of the equation'....'teen' bands that possess intermediate skill level are usually very certain as to 'what they want their music to sound like'...we welcome the addition of these bands to our A.R.S network! All genres are welcome!
All bands that attend ROCK BAND Club receive world class Modern Music Instruction.
